1 INTERVENTION – Directly beneath the Rail
CDM designs and manufactures Rail Pads and Rail
Strips to provide vibration isolation directly under
the rails for discrete and continuously supported
track. CDM will design these elements to meet job
specifications and criteria

 LEVEL
2 INTERVENTION – Under the Base Plate or Under
the Sleeper
Under Base-Plate Pads and Under Sleeper Mats are
designed to meet job specific criteria and physical
constraints to provide isolation between base-plates
and sleepers from the supporting constructions.
CDM also manufactures a novel sleeper that has all
the vibration and noise isolation integrated into
the sleeper itself

3 INTERVENTION – Under the Supporting Structure
of the Track
CDM designs and manufactures Floating Slab Track
systems and Ballast Mat. These systems are used
when the maximum of vibration and noise isolation
is required

RAIL – Fully Encapsulated Rail
Many modern rail, light rail and tram projects require
the rail to be fully embedded in resilient material
to control noise, vibration and stray current. CDM
offers a full range of Embedded rails solutions
for different types of track construction.

PRODUCTS
CDM has other products for the railway industry
such as CDM-FLEXIBORD which is a flexible station
platform edge protection designed to ‘narrow
the gap’. Also CDM-ABSO-RAIL which is a tuneable
rail absorber designed to control wheel squeal and
the ‘pin-pin’ noise problems
