CDM-ISO-STRUCTURE

CDM has 5 standard methods of providing Building Base Isolation and will work with designers to provide alternative solutions should this be required.

CDM-ISO-CHR-BOX – Pre-Compressed Spring Boxes
CDM-ISO-CHR-BOX Pre-Compressed Spring Boxes provide a re-placeable and tuneable vibration isolation solution with a natural frequency of between 2.5Hz and 4Hz whilst minimising the deflection during construction.

CDM-ISO-CHR – Simple Spring Boxes
CDM-ISO-CHR Simple Springs Boxes provide natural frequencies of between 2.5Hz and 4Hz using simple spring assemblies

CDM-ISO-CAS-BOX – Pre-Compressed Elastomer Boxes
These boxes are used when natural frequencies of between 6Hz and 10Hz are required along with a requirement of deflection control during construction. These bearings can be re-placed and/or tuned after construction.

CDM-ISO-SEB – Simple Elastomer Bearings
Simple Elastomer Bearings can provide any natural frequency greater than 6Hz and are the most common solution when protecting buildings from re-radiated noise caused by vibration from trains.

  CDM-ISO-STRIP – Strip Elastomer Bearings
CDM-ISO-STRIP bearings are used to isolate walls, floors, staircases, beams etc.. from supporting structures and can provide natural frequencies of 10Hz or more.
