was formed in 1986 from a company called PRONOUVO
NV. PRONOUVO NV was founded in 1951 in Belgium and
since that time specialised in the production and
installation of vibration and noise isolation products
and systems for building, industry, railway infrastructure
and transport systems.
Since 1986 CDM has continued to develop new materials,
products and systems and has become one of the leaders
in vibration and noise isolation products and systems.
CDM is committed to research and development and
material innovation, enabling the company to remain
at the forefront of this specialist field of expertise.
CDM now boasts a huge range of high performance
materials including cork-rubber, polyurethane foams,
micro-cellular rubber, resin-bonded rubber, high
resilience rubber, springs and air-cushions. These
materials have been specifically designed and manufactured
to provide a complete portfolio of different stiffnesses
and performances. These materials are then used
in the manufacture of the CDM products and systems.
CDM has a worldwide network of distributors and
partners. CDM-UK is responsible for all activity
in the UK. In Ireland CDM-UK work in partnership
with Architectural Acoustic Solutions.
CDM is ISO-9002:1994 accredited and operates under
